Great Commission Society

The Great Commission Society at RTS Jackson exists to cultivate a concern for making disciples of all nations across the street and around the world, and especially to impress upon students the necessity of the work of missions among the peoples of the world who have no access to the gospel.

RTS Women's Fellowship

RTS Women's Fellowship exists for female students and wives of students to foster a gospel-centered community on the RTS campus where women can learn, connect, and be encouraged as they prepare for a life of ministry.

Feb. 17: Monthly Fellowship Meeting

During the spring semester RTS Women’s Fellowship will gather once a month as part of a panel series titled "Loving Them Well: Ministering to the Needs of Women throughout All Stages of Life."

In addition to the panel events, the women will gather once a month for fellowship, prayer, and discipleship. All women are welcome to attend!

    On February 11 RTS students, faculty, staff, and their families are invited to join us for FREE pizza, as we cheer on the ping pong, pool, and foosball tournaments on display in the new student center gameroom/lounge!

    Please note that you do not have to participate in the tournaments to come eat and fellowship with your RTS family.

    The Office of Student Services invites all students, staff, and faculty to stop by the gymnasium this afternoon to attend the third edition of the MAC vs M-Div Volleyball Championships. Even if you are not participating in the games, take the opportunity to come out and cheer them on!

    Accordance and Logos RTS Discounts
    RTS Jackson Students and Faculty:

    RTS has just signed an updated MOU with Accordance for 50% off their Bible software for current RTS students/professors. This is the same as last year’s deal.

    In addition, RTS has also just made a brand new "deal" with Logos for 35% off their software (which is more than the standard academic discount) for current RTS students/professors.

    These two "deals" apply to all RTS campuses and all current students and professors. For more information, click on the links above.

    RTS Jackson students, faculty, staff, and their families are encouraged to gather together for a time of worship and fellowship on the evening of February 20.


    Weather permitting, we will meet at the miniature brick amphitheater near the White House for a time of singing together as the body of Christ and as a seminary family. If it rains, we will move into the Biblical Studies Building.

    In Asia, Africa, and Latin America–where the church is growing fastest–85% of pastors have almost no formal biblical/theological training. Training Leaders International exists to strengthen the church by equipping pastors for the work of the ministry.


    Come to a free Chick-fil-a ministry lunch on February 13 to learn about career and volunteer opportunities to equip pastors in the majority world to shepherd God’s people and to preach the Word.

    John Rakshith Prabhakar, graduate of RTS-Jackson and a PCA church planter in Bangalore, India, is coming to campus on February 18. Come hear of God’s work in Bangalore and India from John and his wife, Kelley Beth, over a free meal! Lynne Wingard will be preparing barbecue, street corn salad, baked beans, cheesy hash browns, cornbread, and bayou brownies.

    Paideia Center Reading Group: Dr. John Fesko

    On February 25 Jonatas Cunha, and the Great Commission Society are hosting a free Missional Moment Lunch on campus for all interested students. As a part of our people group of the month, we will be focusing on Quebec, and hearing from the Bert family, who have served in Quebec since graduating from RTS in 2017. The meal will be free to students and families and prepared by Lynne Wingard as part of Tuesday Lunches With Lynne.

    The Office of Student Services is excited to invite you and your family to our Community Engagement Day, when we will spend some time loving our neighbors in West Jackson by praying for them, picking up trash, and eating at Martin’s Fish House located on Clinton Boulevard. This is a great opportunity for students at RTS to display the love of Christ to our neighbors and to "do good to everyone" (Gal 6:10).


    Please bring cash if you plan on eating lunch afterwards. Water, trash bags, and gloves will be provided. Contact Rachel Underwood with any questions.

    Paying Your Tuition
    RTS Jackson Students:

    Tuition is due by end of business next Friday, February 14. If you are unable to pay your account in full, you need to complete a payment plan agreement form, which is available in the office of Wanda Rushing (Director of Operations). This also applies to those waiting for sponsorship assistance. If the payment is going to be delayed, please have this agreement in place.
